My hair has always been a lifelong struggle for as long as I can remember. For me, my hair and I have maintained the longest of all love-hate relationships. Dry shampoo pushed us slightly towards the loving side.
My hair has always been oily, and it makes me angry that I had to shower way too often to get rid of the excess oil. After getting my hair done at the salon, it has always been a compromise on how good it looked.
Oily hair struggles can have a temporary solution with dry shampoo. It basically contains starch or alcohol, and it dries up the excess oil in your hair and scalp. That gives a fresh feeling and instant clean to your hair. And you get good grease-free hair to continue your day.
To use dry shampoo you have to spray the product into your hair roots. However, don’t hold it too close to your head because the powder will give you a lot of white cast. Without moving it, I leave it on for around a couple of minutes, I brush off the excess powder with a brush or my hands.
As an added benefit, dry shampoo gives my hair a lot of volume and texture.
