Clip-in extensions are a quick solution to many hair woes, whether it is slow-growing hair or thin locks. However, to make it look natural and beautiful, make sure you follow the right steps in using them.
Start above the nape of your neck, using a comb if necessary. Twist the rest of the hair up to keep it out of the way. Take a 3-clip weft, open the clips and position them on the head beginning in the center. Snap into place.
Take another section just as thick as the first. Ideally, each section is 1 cm apart but this depends on the shape and size of the head.
The next 2 sections are for four-clip wefts. The first is in line with the ear and the second a bit above it. Start in the center and pull towards the side of the head to avoid bubbles between the clips.
Section the final piece of hair, making sure there is enough to hide the last wefts. Place the 2-clip wefts at the side of the head.
Part the hair in the usual place to find where you can place the single-clip wefts. For middle parts, place 2 single-clip wefts on each side but for side parts, place the 2 single-clip wefts on the side with more hair and on the other side place one weft.
Once you have applied all wefts, use a comb or your fingers to make sure all wefts are hidden. If necessary, use hairspray.
